Keep your hands and feet well-moisturised. Use cuticle oil daily to nourish your nails and prevent dryness. A good hand cream can also help maintain skin hydration.
For at least the first 24 hours after your appointment, minimise exposure to water. Excessive moisture can weaken the bond of nail products and lead to chipping.
When cleaning or using household products, wear gloves to protect your nails and hands from harsh chemicals that can cause damage.
Avoid using your nails as tools. Refrain from picking or peeling at your nails or cuticles, as this can lead to damage and infection.
If you’re engaging in activities that may cause your nails to chip or break, consider wearing gloves for added protection.
